Still unsure of what games to pre-order with your PS4 console? Here are a few more games that might interest you.
Mirror’s Edge 2- Fans of Mirror’s Edge are being giving a new game that is both a prequel and a reboot. DICE has decided to give the main character a completely new origin story and make the game open world.
Oddworld is being transformed into a next-gen game entitled Oddworld: New n’ Tasty. Expect this game to be a modern adaptation of the original 90s version of the PSone and PC classic game, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. So you can now relive this adventure with modern graphics and side- scrolling action.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the final installment of the Witcher series and this next-gen version will be providing an open world for the RPG with a realistic ecosystem that reacts with in-game events. They are also promising tons of creatures!
Wolfenstein: The New Order is another series that gamers should recognize. This next-gen Wolfenstein will have you placed in the 1960s in an alternate timeline where the Nazis were victorious in World War II. You will play American war hero B.J. Blazkowicz fighting against the Nazi forces who also have uh… robots? So this seems to be a very futuristic version of the 60s.
The Division is a next-gen Tom Clancy game, but with a different approach. Now you play as The Division combat squad after a pandemic sweeps the country and society crumbles. It is up to your squad to be self-sufficient and find out the mystery behind the pandemic. This Clancy game will be an open-world RPG style game that requires exploration. Expect your typical tactical experience from a Tom Clancy game, but now with added RPG features. You’ll be able to explore, gather items, and trade them with your friends because this will have a drop-in/drop-out co-op option. The experience is also fully customizable from weapon options, skills, and even your soldiers “bug-out bag” of supplies. The more I hear about this game, the more excited I get!
Outlast is coming to try and stir up the horror/survival genre with its insane asylum setting for this stealth based game. The twist? You play a powerless, weaponless, journalist who also doesn’t have any fighting skills. Using parkour-style moves you’ll be running for your life in a game where the developers (Red Barrels) are going to do their best to scare the hell out of you, but only if you own a PS4 because this will be another Sony exclusive.
